What a way to kick off the summer! Governors Ball had one of the best lineups with music curated for everyone. When a lineup is this good, you have to make sure to wear your most comfortable shoes because you'll definitely be going back and forth trying to catch everyone's set.

Throughout the weekend, the headliners swept the crowd to the main stage, and they all delivered amazing performances. Starting off with the flute queen, Lizzo slayed the main stage Friday night and had one of the most unforgettable performances of the weekend. She opened with one of the most iconic songs, Cuz I Love You, and the crowd went wild. After that, she continued to serve, singing banger after banger.

Saturday's headliner was a big switch in genre and yet there were hundreds of people waiting on their toes to hear the one and only Odesza. From my knowledge of their music, I thought this set was going to have DJ/EDM vibes but man was I completely wrong. To my surprise, Odesza performs with an incredible drum line that plays throughout their set. This adds another level of immersive music and you can feel yourself hypnotized with their music and visuals.
ODESZA
Gov Ball chose one of the most well respected rappers in the industry to close off the festival leaving people excited for next year. All weekend the talk and excitement was to see Kendrick Lamar's performance at the main stage. And the wait was absolutely worth it. Kendrick played Gov Ball back in 2013, so it had been 10 years since he made his debut on a smaller stage with a smaller crowd. Obviously Kendrick had to show out, and he did just that. He had incredible visuals, incredible dancers and an incredible guest. Kendrick brought out Baby Keem during Family Ties and the crowd went absolutely feral. The whole set was unforgettable from beginning to end and was a great way to end a long weekend.
